"To all the nations of the world, and to all peoples thereof: We Send Greetings.
Let It Be Known By All These Present:
That, as of the hour, minute, and instant of Six O'clock, (6:00 PM), Pacific Daylight Time, on the Third day of August, A.D. 1999, a sovereign, independent, and free nation was created to fight the ecological abuse, apathy, unreasoning violence, and dishonour so rampant in today's human society. hereafter to be known, to all future citizens and to all visitors as the Kingdom of TorHavn, and
"The Government and People of TorHavn, in order to restore the return of Nobility, Chivalry, Honour & Ecology as Principles to live by, do hereby declare the founding of this Kingdom everafter as a sovereign Nation, as per the Montevideo Convention as adopted by the United Nations. We manifest TorHavn as an independent world nation, with its own legal and lawful government, with all international rights and responsibilities that such status carries.
"As a sovereign nation, TorHavn makes the following claim to various international territories and rights:
"We especially acknowledge the territory that is the home of the California Coastal Redwood to be our own cultural and eco-spiritual homeland, and claim historical & de-facto rights to all territories & properties which lie between the Cascade Mountains on the eastern borders, the Pacific Ocean on the eastern border, the current northern of the State of California on our northern border and the latitude which is parallel to San Francisco Bay as our southern border, and all land that is contiguous within: eco-spiritually, culturally and physically are hereby included.
